Addy Salau, Creative Director

Addy (the Baddy) Salau is a Brooklyn-based artist, educator and creative producer. After graduating from Harvard in 2013 and returning to her hometown in NYC, she witnessed a rather rapid displacement of BIPOC people and businesses across Bed-Stuy.

In 2017, she launched Party Blackly to mobilize local NYC artists and community in support and protection of Black owned venues and spaces. Her community work has been featured in Travel Noire, Mic.com and the Brooklyn Eagle. Addy also has a parallel career as an performing singer, rapper and teaching artist. In 2020, Addy was selected as an official SXSW performer. In 2022, Addy was selected as a SXSW Panel Picker Winner for her pitch on Artists Protecting Black Owned Spaces & Venues.

Taylor Key, Head of Communications

Taylor is a senior account executive in New York with a background in consumer PR and experience working across food & beverage, retail, nutrition, education and transportation industries. She possesses a deep passion for media relations and aims to tell creative stories that authentically reach audiences and drive impact for brands.

In her previous role, Taylor brought her passion for DEI and uplifting marginalized groups to life through the creation of the ‘Celebrating Black Voices Content Club’ where the group consumed various content mediums by Black authors to gain a deeper understanding of the Black experience and encourage more diverse storytelling. In addition, Taylor has led various cultural events and initiatives to foster and promote a culture of belonging within work environments.


Miriam, 20, Music Coordinator

Miriam, the entertaining Eritrean mama, is a wild, energetic lover of the underground music scene slowly making it happen.

Shortly after entering college, Miriam was exposed to the different types of creativity each individual had to offer from all parts of LA. The number of hidden talents sprinkled all throughout the city is INSANE! Now, she's made it her mission to put others on to the Next Big thing in their very own neighborhoods! Aside from academics, Miriam is a marketing intern at 1500 Sound Academy in Inglewood, CA. College student by day, playlist curator by night... YUP, that's Miri!
